
Rebates are a great thing when you are putting together a building project. Its getting money back for doing something you already want to do. There are so many rebates available and many of them add up so you end up paying less and getting more.
Georgia Power offers rebates for certain improvements. The rebates fall into two categories, "Individual" and "Whole-House".
The
Whole House approach lists rebates of up to $2200 based on the performance and services performed.

The Individual approach caps the maximum at $700, and lists the individual qualified improvements.

Other utility companies also offer rebates to thier customers for improvements.

The Federal Government is giving you money back to make energy efficient improvements!! Tax rebates and credits are available for individual improvements. Many different improvements qualify such as, HVAC systems, Insulation, Roofing, Water Heaters, Windows and Doors. The credits include renewable energy sources and the improvements associated with them, such as, Geothermal Heat Pumps, Small Wind Turbines, and Solar Energy Systems like Solar Hot Water heaters and Solar Panels for powering your home.
