Outside The Box Construction
Outside The Box Construction is an environmentally aware contractor servicing the Atlanta and North Georgia areas. We have continued our education to earn certifications and are proud to have passed the ICC Contractor exam. We are a member of the US Green Building Council and a member of Southface Energy Institute. All of our construction projects are designed for sustainability with reference to the most current construction codes.
We are proud to educate our clients with ways to improve their home’s efficiency through Home Performance Assessments and provide the construction services necessary to complete the improvements recommended by the Assessments. Outside The Box Construction is a locally owned and operated company that was started in 1994 and is still conducting business today. We love our community and continue to find ways to be involved in development and events within Cartersville and Bartow County such as: Habitat for Humanity, Chamber of Commerce, and Bartow County Environmental Management System

“Outside The Box?”
What makes us call ourselves “outside the box” construction? It is because a lot of the traditional ways of building and the practices passed on from teacher to apprentice from the past 50-100 years are now found to be wrong. This is supported by the study of Building Science, or how a building works and is supposed to work. A building is not only the sum of its parts but is the cooperation of all the systems that make up the building. The shell, the insulation, the HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc. all form the building and are studied to make the building systems perform better together. We think and build outside of the stereotypical “box” of construction. We search for and use better and newer ways of building to produce a better product that will last longer and perform higher than systems of the past. We also search out projects that are “out of the norm” and take pride in using unconventional building techniques to accomplish the projects. We are Outside The Box Construction and we want to show you why we are the best company for you.
